Disha Patani was born on 13th June 1992 in Pithoragarh which is in Uttarakhand. Later she moved to Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh with her family. Disha Patani's father, Jagadish Singh Patani is a police officer and her mother is a health inspector. Her elder sister, Khushboo Patani is a lieutenant in the Indian Army. She also has a younger brother, Suryansh Patani. Disha revealed in a radio show that her original surname was Patni rather than Patani.

 

She completed a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree from Amity University, Noida.

 

Disha Patani started her career as a model. She participated in the Ponds Femina Miss India in 2013 and won the first Runner-up Award. Regarding her love life, it is said that Disha Patani's first love was from the TV world i.e Perth Chamthan.
