Akshay Kumar has stated that production has finally begun in his next movie, Bell Bottom. He shared a video on Twitter and Instagram on Thursday to announce an equivalent.

In the last months, actress Huma Qureshi shared a boomerang of herself, Lara Dutta, producer Jackky Bhagnani and director Ranjit M Tewari and she wrote: "Safety first. Team Bell Bottom expecting our actor Akshay Kumar Sir." All the team members are often seen wearing masks in the clip.

Bell Bottom, which can also one of the well known Bollywood star Vaani Kapoor, is being directed by Ranjit M Tewari and co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. It is Bollywood's 1st movie to shoot at an international location after the nationwide lockdown for the present pandemic situation.

Vaani Kapur had said, “I, honestly, am just happy with work resuming after a long break.One will,of course, have to be extra cautious and keep all preventive measures in mind but it feels excitingto embark on a new journey !”

The producers of Bell Bottom will shoot the first schedule of the film in London. In that day, the Bollywood actress Lara Dutta shared a snapshot from the sets of the film. She can be seen wearing a mask in the photo, which also features her team members following safety norms for COVID-19. 

Actress Lara Dutta wrote in a caption, "And it begins. I'm claiming one for the girls.As a 42-year-old female actor, in this COVID period, it feels amazing to be the first to be back on the set of a big Bollywood film.Thank you Pooja Entertainment for creating a safe environment for us".

Akshay had shared his first look from the movie in November 2019. It shows a suited up Akshay acting in style in front of a luxury car and a plane flying over him. He wore dark shades and sported a mustache. In reply to his fan who asked about the film was a remake of a Kannada movie, Akshay had said, “Bell Bottom is not a remake of any film, it is an original screenplay inspired by true events.”
